Lorraine A Carie

Lorraine A. Carie, 86, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Monday, July 18, 2016 at the United Methodist Village-North Campus. She was born February 25, 1930 in Eagle River, Wisconsin, the daughter of Albert and Florence (Johnson) Fields. She married John Carie, Jr. on June 26, 1954 and he preceded her in death. Lorraine worked at Suttle Apparatus, AMF in Olney, and was also a homemaker. She was a member of the Ladies Home Extension, Zion United Methodist Church, and Blessing Circle with the church. Preceding Lorraine in death were her parents and her husband. Survivors include her son, Dave Carie and wife, Jana of Olney, Illinois; daughter Elaine Dugger and husband, Mark of Greenfield, Illinois; brother, Leroy Fields of Randolph, Wisconsin; sister, Charlotte Federspiel of Eagle River, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, July 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial donations in Lorraine's memory may be made to the United Methodist Village-North Campus.
