Lola Holmes, age 76, of St. Francisville, IL passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital in
Vincennes, IN. Born February 21, 1935 in Lawrenceville, she was the daughter of Robert and Beulah D. (Crouch) Howe.
She married Donald Ray Holmes December 1, 1962 and he passed away July 15, 2010.
Lola was a homemaker. She was a member of Central Christian Church in Lawrenceville.
Lola was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald, and three brothers.
Survivors include one son Donald Ray Holmes, II and wife Kimberly of Robinson, IL; one daughter Robin Holmes of
St. Francisville; one sister Donna Barrett of Sumner; and one grandson Chris Holmes of St. Francisville.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Central Christian Church in Lawrenceville.
