Lois Ann Provines

Lois Ann Provines, age 70, of Sumner, IL passed away January 6, 2008 at the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville, IL.Born November 20, 1937, she was the daughter of Garl and Myrttle (Ruby) Mieure. She married Kenneth Provines September 21, 1957 and he survives.Lois was a former typist at Golden Rule Insurance Company for Patrick Rooney and then typed insurance policies at home after the birth of her children. She was the wife of a retired Methodist minister and she served as a janitor for the churches where her husband was minister. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.Lois was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers. She is survived by her husband Kenneth, two sons Waye Provines of Wilmingston, MI and Terry Provines of Birmingham, AL
