Lloyd 'Sonny' Wayne Brown

Lloyd "Sonny" Wayne Brown, age 76, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015, at his residence. He was born March 25, 1938 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the son of Floyd Wayne Brown and Lorrena Iola (Stanton) Brown. He married Deanna "Dee" Stressman on July 28, 1984 and she died December 15, 2008. Sonny worked for the Grand Rapids Public School System. He was a lifetime member of VFW and a life member of the Northeastern Sportsman's Club in Lowell, Michigan. Preceding Sonny in death were his parents, his wife Dee, one son Skeeter, and one sister. Survivors include two sons Kirk (Ruth) Brown of Lawrenceville and Scott (Angie) Lengerak of Greenville, Michigan; two daughters Debra Brown of Wyoming, Michigan and Lori Brown of Michigan; one brother Jerry Brown of Wyoming, Michigan; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A time of gathering will be held from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Lawrenceville VFW.
