Lloyd Mickler

Lloyd Mickler, age 90 of Lawrenceville, Illinois died December 12, 2014, in Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. He was born April 15, 1924, in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the son of John and Edna (Culp) Mickler. He married Patricia May Connett on June 30, 1942. Lloyd was retired from Victor-Dana in Robinson where he worked as a plant supervisor. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and the Elks. Lloyd was an Army veteran, having served during WWII. Preceding Lloyd in death were his parents, his wife, two brothers and one sister. Survivors include two sons, Michael C. (Karen) Mickler of Flat Rock, Illinois and Larry (Carolyn) Mickler of Cleveland, Ohio; one sister Juanita Jones of Lawrenceville; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Private graveside services were held.
