Linda Reeves

Linda Reeves, 72, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Tuesday April 12, 2011 at the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville, IL. She was born August 3, 1938 in Williamson County, IL the daughter of Herman Joseph and Dorothy (Blades) McCombs. She was married to Gaylon Reeves on February 12, 1958. He preceded her in death on May 6, 2003. She is survived by a son: Randy Reeves of Olney, IL, two daughters: Sheila (Spence) Evans of Lawrenceville, IL, and Wanda Merrick of St. Louis, MO, 6 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Two brothers are deceased. Linda had worked as a waitress, a cook, and also worked as a maid at a truck stop. She was a member of the Hi-Way Church of God. A Graveside Service will be conducted Friday at 11:00am at May Chapel Cemetery.
