Linda Kay Barr

Linda Kay (McClure) Barr, 64, of Vincennes, Indiana passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born April 15, 1953 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the daughter of Franklin D. and Eulah May (Helderman) McClure. She married John Barr on December 5, 1991 and he survives. Linda was a CNA at KCARC for close to 30 years. She loved to care for others and was a foster mother to many children. Her hobbies included gardening, signing, and arts and crafts. Preceding her in death were her parents and brother, Frank McClure, Jr. Survivors include her husband, John; two sisters, Karen Miles of Crestview, Florida and Diana McClure of Vincennes, Indiana; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Graveside services will be Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 3:00 PM CST at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Linda's memory may be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
