Leonard Lee Wright

Leonard Lee Wright, 56, of rural Sumner, Illinois, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, Ohio. He was born November 7, 1957, in Terre Haute, Indiana, the son of Louis Hamilton Wright and Patty J. (Forsyth) Winsted-Dill. He married Rebecca "Becky" Adams in 1994 and she survives. Prior to his disability, Leonard was a man with many trades and talents. He was a construction worker, carpenter, and mechanic. Leonard was an active member of Calvary Apostolic Church in Lawrenceville for 17 years. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Preceding Leonard in death were his parents, his step-father Ronnie L. Winsted, one brother and one sister. Survivors include his wife Becky of rural Sumner; one son Joshua Wright of Sumner; one daughter Abby Wright of Sumner; three brothers Kenny, Kevin, and Ronnie; three sisters Brenda, Bonnie and Wanetta, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 AM Thursday at Calvary Apostolic Church in Lawrenceville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Calvary Apostolic Church. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
