Laverne ‘Midge’ Craig

LaVerne ‘Midge’ Craig, age 82, of Willow Hill, Illinois, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson, Illinois. She was born on September 15, 1941 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the daughter of John and Alta Marie (Brown) McKee. She was married to Lorenzo Craig, and he preceded her in death.

Midge was a secretary. She enjoyed walking and spending time with her cats.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; four brothers, LeRoy McKee, Joseph McKee, John McKee, Tom McKee, and Jody McKee; and one sister, Mame Pearl McKee.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 11:00 AM CDT at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM CDT at the funeral home. Burial will be in the May Chapel Cemetery
