Larry Dean Diggs

Larry Dean Diggs, age 71, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026 at the Villas of Holly Brook in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. He was born on July 20, 1955 in Fairchild, Washington, the son of Robert and Nancy Baldock Diggs. He married Susan Archibald on March 1, 1975, and she survives.

Larry was employed as a Unit Operator at Marathon Refinery for many years. Prior to working at Marathon, he was employed by Texaco and Indian Refinery. He attended Central Christian Church in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Larry was known for his strong work ethic and dedication throughout his career. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family and treasured the time they shared together.

Preceding Larry in death were his parents and his sister, Colleen Diggs.

Survivors include his wife, Susan; his son, Aaron and Whitney Diggs of Carmel, Indiana; three grandchildren, Ashton Diggs, Finley Diggs, and Dallas Diggs; and three brothers, Johnny Diggs, Gene Diggs, and Mike Diggs.

Private graveside services will be conducted.
