Kyle David Andrews

Kyle David Andrews, age 31, of rural Bridgeport, IL, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014, in Lawrence County, IL. He was born February 1, 1983, in Vincennes, IN, the son of Richard and Kathy (Thompson) Andrews. Kyle worked for CSX Railroad as a Signalman. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Kyle enjoyed boating, shooting guns, and bow hunting, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his son Jaxin, taking him four-wheel riding, fishing, playing tee ball and teaching him all about trains. Survivors include his parents, Richard and Kathy Andrews of rural Bridgeport; a son Jaxin James Andrews of Bridgeport; a sister Amanda Clark and her husband Chuck of Jasper, IN; paternal grandmother Dorothy Andrews of Bridgeport, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, May 16, 2014, at Shiloh Cemetery, southwest of Bridgeport. Visitation will be from 1:30-3:30 PM Friday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Memorials may be made to the Jaxin Andrews College Fund with envelopes available through the funeral home.
