Kevin Seitzinger, 57, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at his residence. He was born May 27, 1959 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the son of Rex and Sue (Thompson) Seitzinger. He married Judith ‘Judy' Wright on July 21, 1984.
Kevin was a CPA and worked for Wabash Energy for 33 years. He was a member of the Community United Methodist Church in Vincennes, Indiana and attended the First United Methodist Church in Vincennes, Indiana. He was a part of the Lawrenceville High School girls basketball staff, as Statistician, "Stat Man" for 18 years. He has also assisted coaching the Parkview 5th, 6th 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams and Parkview Jr High track teams. He was an avid runner and ran in the 2011 Boston Marathon at age 51.
Preceding him in death was his sister, Susan Seitzinger.
Survivors include his parents, Rex and Sue of Lawrenceville, Illinois; his wife, Judy of Lawrenceville, Illinois; his son, Robert Kevin "R.K." Seitzinger II of Florence, Kentucky; his daughters, Nicky Osmon and husband, Chris, of Lawrenceville, Illinois; Laura Uptmor and husband, Zach, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, and Emily Wells and husband, Robert, of Lawrenceville, Illinois; brother, Steve Seitzinger of Bloomington, Indiana; four grandchildren, Melissa Shick and husband, Bobby, Kourtney Osmon and finance', Zach Benson, Taylor Osmon, and Corinna Wells; and great-granddaughter, Hayden Shick.
Funeral services will be Monday, September 26, 2016 at 2:00 PM CST/3:00 PM EST at the Community United Methodist Church in Vincennes, Indiana. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Kevin's memory may be made to Colon Screening for Life or Good Samaritan Hospice.
