Kenneth 'Kenny' Eugene Morehead

Kenneth "Kenny" Eugene Morehead, age 71, of rural St. Francisville, Illinois, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016.  He was born March 6, 1945, the son of Willard and Fannie (Sullivan) Morehead. Kenny was retired.  He was a US Navy veteran, having served four years on the USS Kitty Hawk.  Kenny had a love of the outdoors, enjoying hunting, fishing and golfing.  Kenny also adored worshipping the Lord and his little dog Punkie. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include three sons, Bradley Morehead, Charles Morehead and Michael Morehead, all of Lawrenceville and a daughter Shelley Warner of Tuscola, Illinois; a brother, Donald Morehead of Lawrenceville; two sisters, Sue Farrington of Colorado and Shirley Humphrey of Evansville, Indiana; 12 grandchildren, Cheyenne Morehead,  Cassie Morehead, Garrett Morehead, Cailey Morehead, Dylan Kennedy, Paige Morehead, Mason Morehead, Michael Morehead, Jr, Nicholas Morehead, McKenzie Newlin, and Aiden Warner. Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bridgeport City Cemetery.
