Kathy L. Foster

Kathy L. Foster, age 62, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Thursday, October 06, 2022 at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Lawrenceville, Illinois. She was born on March 15, 1960 in Hammond, Indiana, the daughter of Rudolph and Bessie (Doleman) Ruzich. She married Robbie Foster on September 18, 2004, and he survives.

Kathy worked at Gemtron. She enjoyed being a Meme to all of the neighborhood kids, watching soap operas and true crime shows on TV, going to the beach at the Rod and Gun Club, going out to eat, as well as spending time with her family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, Rudolph Ruzich, Jr.; and three sisters, Sandra Kiser, Janice Laslie, and Rose Turnage.

Survivors include her husband Robbie Foster of Lawrenceville, Illinois; one daughter, Krisstie Deckard of Lawrenceville, Illinois; one brother, William Ruzich of Lawrenceville, Illinois; three grandchildren, Makayla May, Rissa May, and Braxton May; two great-grandchildren, Grayson Cummins and J.T. Cummins; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM CDT at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM CDT at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery at a later date.
