Kathryn L. Simpson age 90 of Vincennes,In. a former Lawrence Co. resident passed away Monday August 15, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes,Ind.
She was born April 22, 1921 in Lawrence County,Illinois the daughter of Fred and Elizabeth Kern Stallard. October 14, 1944 she married Robert B. Simpson and he preceded her in death March 25, 1987.
Kathryn was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Keith and wife Letitia Simpson of Ft. Branch,In. One daughter Susan Clark and husband Stephen of Glastonbury, Conn. One sister Helen Darnold of Lawrenceville,Il. Four grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, one grandchild and one greatgrandchild.
Graveside services will be Saturday morning 11:00 a.m. at the May Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday morning 10:00 till 10:50 a.m. at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville,Il.
Memorial donations may be made to Crestview/New Willow Manor Activities Dept.
