Judith A. Seward

Judith A. Seward, 68, or rural Lawrenceville, passed away at her residence, October 24, 2008.  She was born May 4, 1940 in Mt. Vernon, IL, the daughter of Bill and Vivian (Mannen) Miller.  She married Bill Seward June 15, 1958 and he survives.Judy was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville.  She was also a member of the Country Club for 31 years, Women of the Moose, VFW Auxillary and she was an avid golfer.Survivors include her husband (Bill); one son David (Jacki) Seward of rural Lawrenceville; two daughters Kathy (Jeff) Courtney and Beth LeBahn all of rural Lawrenceville; one sister Sharon Jones of Green Cove Springs, FL; and eight grandchildren.Judy was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Billie Gardner.The funeral will be Monday at 10:00 am at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville.Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.Burial will be in the May Chapel Cemetery.Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
