Joyce Wesley

Joyce Ann Wesley, age 72, of rural Lawrenceville, Illinois died Friday, September 20, 2013, at her residence. She was born June 28, 1941, in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of Martin and Elizabeth Jessie Carrico Zehner. She married Richard "Dick" Wesley July 26, 1958, and he survives. Joyce worked for Whitmer Oil Company and the United Methodist Village. She was a Bond Township Supervisor. She attended the Birds Free Methodist Church. She was a member of TOPS. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Teresa Ann. Survivors include her husband Dick; one son Richard W. (Deborah) Wesley of Mineral, Virginia; two daughters Patricia Wesley and Candy (Chris) McKinney, both of rural Lawrenceville,Il; one brother, Charles(Leone) Zehner of rural Lawrenceville,IL; two sisters Lois Stern of Texas and Sally Zack of Michigan; four grandchildren Christopher W. McKinney, Cody McKinney, David Wesley, Rachel Wesley; and a great granddaughter, Elaina Hoke. Memorial services will be Wednesday evening 6 PM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Friends may call Wednesday afternoon at 3 PM till the service hour at 6 PM. Memorial donations may be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation.
