Joyce E. Ridgley, 83, of Salem, Illinois passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the Salem Township Hospital in Salem, Illinois. She was born March 30, 1934 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of Earl and Wilda (Kent) Gowen.
Joyce was a homemaker.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Jeff Ridgley; one daughter, Melissa Dunlap; two brothers, Roy Gowen and Ray Gowen; and one infant great-grandchild.
Survivors include one son, Keith Ridgley and wife, Michelle; two sisters, Wanda Daugherty and husband, Chuck, of rural Flat Rock, Illinois and Doris Decker and husband, Glenn, of rural Flat Rock, Illinois; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews
Joyce's wishes were to be cremated; therefore, no formal services will be conducted. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
