Joseph Mckee

Joseph Howard McKee, age 59, of Effingham, IL passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Lakeland Rehab and Healthcare in Effingham, IL. He was born January 20, 1953 in Lawrenceville, IL, the son of John and Alta Marie (Brown) English McKee. He married Sherry Kemper November 14, 1994 and she survives. Joseph was a mechanic. He was an Army veteran. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and six sisters. Survivors include his wife Sherry of Effingham, IL; four sons Donnie Yancey of Herrin, IL, Howard McKee of Marion, IL; Travis (Sabrina) Keebler and Ronnie Keebler both of Effingham, IL; four daughters Melissa McKee of South Dakota, Mary Buddy and Fannie McKee both of Effingham, IL and Lona McKee of Paragould, AR; three brothers Leroy, Tom and Jody McKee all of Willow Hill, IL; one sister Midge Craig of Lawrenceville, IL, several grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5 to 7 PM at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, IL. Services will be 11 AM Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial in May Chapel Cemetery.
