Joseph Franklin Joles Jr, 68, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 at his residence. He was born June 14, 1947 in Vincennes, IN the son of Joseph Franklin and Vivian Lucille (Rogers) Joles Sr. He was married to Linda Sue Osborn in Bridgeport, IL. She preceded him in death on November 9, 2006. Joe worked for several years at Texaco Refinery. He then co-owned Joles & Preston Construction and worked at Tracy Electric. He was a member of the Lawrenceville Rod-n-Gun Club, the VFW Men's Auxiliary, and previously the Lawrenceville Garden Club. He is survived by a daughter: Candace Joles and her husband Brian Schuh, of Lawrenceville, IL; a son: Jason Joles and his wife Renita, of Lawrenceville, IL, grandchildren: Katie and Aaron Joles, a sister: Brenda Koehler, several nieces and nephews, and a significant other: Lynette Harris. There will be a Celebration of Life Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 4:30 to 6:30pm CST at the Lawrenceville Rod & Gun Club. Signs will be posted for directions. Memorial donations may be given to the Lupus Foundation of America or the Lawrenceville Rod & Gun Club at PO Box 544 Lawrenceville, IL 62439 for a Memory Tree and Fishing Bench. Take Route 50 out of Lawrenceville heading east. Just past WAKO Radio Station, go left on 1400 East. Go north about a mile. Take a right at T. This is 1100 North. Continue about 1/8 mile and turn left on 1400 East. Travel about 3 miles to 1300 N. Turn right. Travel about 3/4 mile. Rod & Gun is on the right. Signs will be posted.
