Jon C. Mickey, age 73, of Bridgeport, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Haven of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Illinois. He was born December 18, 1952 in Fort Madison, Iowa, the son of Gene L. Mickey and Mary S. Van Avsdall Mickey .
Jon worked as a security guard for Tennessee Department of Corrections. He was a member of the Catholic Church. Jon enjoyed playing computer games, working Rubix cubes, dancing, joking and teasing, and spoiling Nancy.
No formal services are being conducted.
