John H. White

John H. White, 88, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away at 11:45 PM, Wednesday night, March 23, 2016, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana.  He was born June 11, 1927, in Lawrence County, Illinois, the son of Sabine and Maude (Osborne) White.  He married Marjorie Gubelman on October 24, 1954 and she passed away May 30, 2015. John worked as a carpenter. Preceding John in death were his parents, his wife Marjorie; two brothers Bob and Hugh; and two sisters Mary Sivert and Martha Browning. Survivors include a son, John M. White of Lawrenceville; a daughter, Julie L. Phillips of Lawrenceville; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. It was John's request that there be no visitation or services. Memorial donations may be made to the First Christian Church of Lawrenceville.
