John M. Fulton

John M. Fulton, age 57, of Bridgeport passed away Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. He was born October 28, 1952 in Lawrence County, Illinois the son of Russell and Loretta (Turnage) Fulton. He married Candy Harmon December 31, 1984 and she survives. John was an Army Veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He was employed at LA Woods(Wagner-Smith) for 20 plus years where he worked as a welder, shop foreman, and shipping/receiving as a supervisor. John was a member of the Eagles where he served as Past President and Past Secretary. He was also a member of the VFW. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother James. Survivors include his wife Candy of Bridgeport; two sons Shane and Carol Fulton of Pennsylvania and Jason and Patricia Fulton of California; three daughter Haven and Steve Stoltz of Bridgeport, Jamie Pinkstaff of Watseka, IL, and Staley and Michael Street of Sumner; three brothers Ross Fulton of Evansville, IN; Roy and Ann Fulton of Lawrenceville, and Jerry Fulton of Texas; two sisters Lynda Orsborn of Shelbyville, IL and Faye Pace of Springfield, IL; and nine grandchildren. Visitation will be 5 to 7 pm Sunday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Services will be 2:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lawrenceville City Cemetery with military rites. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
