John W. Dolman

John W. Dolman, Jr., age 69, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on July 3, 2025 at his home.  He was born on May 6, 1956 in Lawrenceville, Illinois the son of John W. Dolman and Urma (Alford) Shidler.

John was a truck driver for many years.  He enjoyed photography and watching professional baseball games.

Preceding John in death were his parents and one brother David Dolman.

Survivors include his sisters Janice (John) Holcomb of Lawrenceville, Illinois; Linda (Ralph) Bare of Grandview, Missouri; Debbie Dolman of Pekin, IL; seven nieces and nephews Georgia Harlan, Sonia Holcomb, Amanda Lackey, James Bare, Shawn Bare, Willie Kasinger, and Stacy Kasinger, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 11:00 at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to Lawrenceville Senior Citizens Center or Lawrence County Humane Society.
