Joe W. Miller

Joe W. Miller, 72, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Thursday November 12, 2009 at his residence.He was born November 23, 1936 in Big Clifty, KY the son of Willie and Bertho (Harkness) Miller. On July 14, 1958 he married Doris Leib. She preceded him in death.Survivors include 3 sons: Jim Miller and Jeannie Ramirez of Lawrenceville, IL, Paul and Kim Miller of Vincennes, IN, Joe and Mandi Miller of Effingham, IL, 2 daughters; Connie and terry Berry of Bridgeport, IL, Pam and Vic Harrington of Highland, IL, a sister: Vivian Purcell of Valparaiso, IN, 10 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.He had worked for Moore Brothers as a mechanic for 25 years.A graveside service will be conducted Monday at 3:00pm at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Visitation is also Monday from 12:00 until 3:00pm at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home.Memorial doantions may be given to the Susan G. Koman Foundation.
