Jody Carl McKee, age 66, of Willow Hill, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Carle Richland Hospital in Olney, Illinois. He was born January 20, 1953 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the son of John McKee and Alta Marie Brown. He was married to Mary (Theriac) McKee and she passed away on March 18, 2006.
Jody worked as an Offroad Mechanic for Hall's Wrecker Service in Gulfport, Mississippi for more than 20 years.
Preceding Jody in death were his parents, four brothers: LeRoy, Joseph, John and Tom McKee, and one sister, Mame Pearl McKee.
He is survived by three daughters, Kristina McKee of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, LaVerne A. McKee and husband, Brian Vanscoy, of Stokesdale, North Carolina, Mary Alice Leonard and husband, Chris, of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; one sister, LaVerne "Midge" Craig of Willow Hill, Illinois; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 14, 2019 at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m until the service hour of 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the May Chapel Cemetery in Lawrenceville, Illinois.
