Jimmy 'Honey Bee' Carter

Jimmy K. "Honey Bee" Carter age 76 of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. He was born September 28, 1930 in Lawrenceville, IL the son of Lewis Oden and Mary Elizabeth Willis Carter. He married Reta Wilson on January 28, 1966 and she survives. Jimmy worked in the oil fields most of his life. He also worked at Roadmaster in Olney. Survivors include his wife Reta, one son: Cody Carter and one daughter: Cathy Davis and her friend Jeff Hall all of Lawrenceville, IL, two brothers; David Michael and wife Patty Carter of Lawrenceville, IL, Steven J. Carter of Lexington, Ky, four sisters: Greta Ann (Robert) Seed of Bridgeport, IL., Penny Lou Fox of Lawrenceville, IL., Paula Sue ( David) Mieure of Bunker Hill, IL. and Peggy Jean ( Steve) Foster of rural Lawrenceville, IL. A Memorial Service will be conducted Sunday at 6:00pm CST at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 1948 S Old HWY 41 Vincennes, IN.
