Jill Anne (Wilson) Deckard

Jill Anne (Wilson) Deckard, age 56, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025, in Sainte Genevieve, Missouri.  She was born July 17, 1968 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the daughter of Wilmer L. “Porky” Wilson and Mary Crouch Wilson.

Jill worked at United Healthcare as a COB Investigator.  She was a member of Central Christian Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and worked with Lawrence County Kids Shopping Day.  Jill was a Trail Blazer Leader for Lawrence County Camp Girls, a member of Delta Theta Tau, and DAR.  She enjoyed traveling and sisters’ game night.

Preceding Jill in death were her parents, brothers-in-law:  Darrell Fisher and Artie Akers.

Survivors include:  one daughter, Brianne (Jeffrey) Deckard Eydmann of Sainte Genevieve, Missouri; three sisters, Linda Fisher of rural Lawrenceville, Peggy Akers of rural Lawrenceville, and Judy (Randy) Hutchinson of Lawrenceville; two grandchildren, Aaron Eydmann and Alicia Marcee; “The Love of My Life” Bob Bedwell, Carlisle, Indiana; surviving cats, Azure Kitts and Cat Stevens.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 21, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at Central Christian Church in Lawrenceville, Illinois.  Visitation will be Friday evening from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the church.  Burial will be in the Lawrenceville Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to Central Christian Church, Lawrence County Camp Girls, or Delta Theta Tau.
