Jerry A. Weger

Jerry A. Weger, 69, of Lawrenceville, passed away Tuesday morning June 29, 2010 with his family by his side at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN.He was born December 15, 1940 in Centralia, IL the son of Ivan R. and Rochelle B. (Baker) Weger. On February 20, 1965 he married Charlotte S. Hand. She survives.Along with his father and wife, survivors include: 4 sons: Jim A. Weger & Jenny Kocher of Flat Rock, IL, Sean A. and wife Marianne Weger of Lawrenceville, IL, Keith A. and wife Trisha Weger of Lawrenceville, IL. Dusty A. and wife Jennifer Weger of Lawrenceville, IL, a daughter: Lori and husband Gard Gillespie of Lawrenceville, Il, 2 brothers: Rod and wife Ann Marie Weger of Lawrenceville, IL, Jon and wife Andra Weger of Santa Ana, CA, a sister: Jane and husband Jim Bennie of Cummins, GA 12 grandchildren: Taryn and Tanna Gillespie, Jarett and Brock Weger, Montana Kocher, Bryce, and Lauryn Weger, Kayla Boyd, Nathaniel and Daniel Weger, Keaton and Annastyn Weger, and 3 nephews and 1 niece. He was preceded in death by his mother. He was a Texaco Distributor of Gas & Oil for 45 years. He served in the Illinois National Guard. Jerry was a Classic Car enthusiast. The funeral will be Saturday July 3, 2010 at 11:00am at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
