Jerry Wayne Reed, 63, of Lawrenceville passed away Sunday August 9, 2009 at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital.He was born Bridgeport, IL the son of Coen and Margaret (Ridgley) Reed. He was married to Cynthia (Gosnell). She survives.He is survived by a daughter: Jeri Elaine Marley of Edwardsville, IL, 3 step-sons: Jeffrey Allen Marley of Texas, Gregory Scott Marley of Bridgeport, IL, Brian Keith Marley of Bridgeport, IL, step-daughter: Michelle Marley of Lawrenceville, IL, 2 brothers: Bill Reed, Thomas Elmo Reed of Norris City, IL, 1 sister: Patty Jean Reed of Lawrenceville, IL, 2 grandchildren, and 13 step-grandchildren.He worked construction at the Texaco Refinery. He was a member of the Eagles. He served in the US Army during Vietnam.No services are scheduled.
