James A. "Jimmy" Kasinger, age 42 of rural Lawrenceville, IL passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in Bridgeport Township. He was born March 27, 1969 in East Chicago, IN the son of James A. and Susan (Ackman) Kasinger.
Jimmy worked in construction. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Lawrenceville, IL.
Survivors include his parents of rural Lawrenceville, three brothers Darrin Kasinger of Muscatine, IA, Brian Kasinger of Princeton, IN and Charles Kasinger of West Salem, WI, and one sister Annette Kasinger of Vincennes, IN, maternal grandmother Margaret Ackman, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 pm at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville.
Funeral services will begin at 1 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Cremation will follow.
