James D. Garner, age 74, of Bridgeport, Illinois passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022 at Aperion Care in Bridgeport, Illinois. He was born on March 10, 1948 in Charleston, Illinois, the son of Harry and Barbara (Kane) Garner.
James served his country in the United States Army and worked for the Department of Natural Resources in the Springfield, Illinois area. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and bird watching.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors include one daughter, Jesse Page of San Diego, California; one sister, Barbara Zwetkow of Bridgeport, Illinois; and two grandchildren.
There will be no services conducted. Burial will be in the White House Cemetery. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
