James L. Ferrell

James L. Ferrell, age 63, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012 at his residence. He was born October 23, 1948 in Harrisburg, IL the son of Charles Russell and LaWanda (Bright) Ferrell. James worked as a lab technician for Lawrence County Memorial Hospital and in Rosiclare, IL. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Rosiclare, IL. James was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson Christopher Lee Briar Shick. Survivors include one son Tyler Ferrell and wife Jeanie and one daughter Ginger Shick and husband Chris all of Lawrenceville; one sister Sara Katherine (Ferrell) Poma and husband Chris of Benton, KY; four grandchildren Kelsie and Charleigh Ferrell, Shayna and Karleigh Shick; two nephews Brad and Nathan, and one niece Lanae. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Wednesday at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare, IL. A graveside service will be 11:00 am Wednesday at Fluroine Cemetery in Rosiclare, IL. Memorials may be made to the family through the funeral home.
