Jack Patten, 70, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016 at Deaconess Hospital. He was born June 26, 1946 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the son of Charles and Geanie (Huse) Patten. He married Linda Crouch on June 19, 1970 and she preceded him in death on June 30, 2007.
Jack was a laborer and an Army veteran. He was also a member of the VFW.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife; his brothers, Roy and Rick; and grandson, Travis.
Survivors include his sons, Pat Patten of Robinson, Illinois, Jerry Patten of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Jackie Patten and wife, Bobbie Jo, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, and Terry Patten of Lawrenceville, Illinois; daughter, Billie Glass and husband, Charles, of Pekin, Illinois; sisters, Velma Gilmore of Flora, Illinois and Anette Lewis of Vincennes, Indiana; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, December 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery with military rites.
