Jack E. Paddick November 3, 1938 - December 31, 2011 Jack E. Paddick, age 73, of rural Sumner, IL passed away Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, IL. He was born November 3, 1938 in Richland County, IL the son of Manley and Fern (Brownfield) Paddick. He married Ramona Bemount January 28, 1962 . Jack worked as a farmer, oil field worker, machinist and auctioneer. He and his family owned and operated Willow Hill Auction Barn for several years. Jack was an Army veteran. Jack is survived by his wife Ramona of Sumner; one son Todd W. Paddick (Nancy Kegg) of Sumner; one daughter Crystal L. Paddick of Bridgeport; one sister Joanne Downs of Mattoon, IL; two grandchildren Jessica Lynn Paddick-Knight (Justin) and Taylor Jackson Paddick; one great-grandchild KayLynn Ann Paddick; two step-great-grandchildren Crystal Knight and Clayton Knight; extended family Robert Limes, Jr. of Bridgeport; one brother-in-law Monte Bemount of Newton, IL; one sister-in-law Katrina Beaty of Salem, IL, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Murl Paddick and three infant brothers. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday at Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Sumner. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chauncey Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Shriners with envelopes available at the funeral home.
