Jack E. Goodwin

Jack E. Goodwin, 70, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Friday May 22, 2009 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.He was born June 25, 1938 in Edgar County, IL the son of William J. and Lura L. (Rardin) Goodwin. He was married November 24, 1990 to Carole Sue Morgan. She survives.Jack worked for Richlaw Service Company (Wabash Valley Farm Service) in Henry, IL and in Lawrence County, IL. He had an Associate Degree in Accounting. He was a member of the Central Christian Church in Lawrenceville where he served as Treasurer for 10 years, and was a Deacon. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a US Army Veteran.Along with his wife, he is survived by a son: Wayne Goodwin of San Antonio, TX, 2 daughters: Kim E. Goodwin of Peoria, IL, Toni Waldschmidt of Mossville, IL, 2 step-sons: John T. Schmitt III of Jasper, IN, Michael A. Schmitt of Lebanon, OH, 3 sisters: Gladys Miller of Peoria, IL, Mona Anderson of Bradenton, FL, Evelyn Johnson of Bradenton, FL, and 6 grandchildren. A brother and 2 sisters are deceased.A Memorial Service will be conducted Friday at 2:00pm at the Central Christian Church in Lawrenceville. There is no visitation.Memorial donations may be given to the Central Christian Church.
