Irene Loretta Jackman

Irene Loretta Jackman, age 80, formerly of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at The Villages at Oak Ridge in Washington, Indiana. She was born December 1, 1945 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of Francis Thill and Jean Dunham Thill. She married Mark Dennis Jackman June 25, 1983, and he preceded her in death on July 16, 2023.

Irene worked as a purchasing agent for L.A. Woods and Wagner-Smith. She attended Zion United Methodist Church.

Preceding Irene in death was her husband, her parents, sisters: Judith McLean and Karol Keeney.

Survivors include her step-daughter, Sara Jackman of California and granddaughter Lia Mae Jackman.
