Irene I. Arnold, 91, of Lawrenceville passed away May 10, 2009 at her residence.Born June 12, 1917 in Lawrence County, IL she was the daughter of Peter P. and Flozea (Chickadonz) Culp. She was married to Everett Arnold who preceded her in death.Irene is survived by one son David E. Arnold of Lawrenceville; two daughters Patricia Hockman of Lawrenceville, IL and Sharon Bowman of Bridgeport, IL; one sister Ethel McCracken of Camp Verde, AZ; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Everett and James; two daughters, Donna and Marjorie; one brother, Gene, and one sister.Irene was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church in Lawrenceville.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery with burial to follow in the cemetery. There will be no visitation.
