Inez Marie Hixon

Inez Marie Hixon, 81, of Sumner, IL passed away Monday January 25, 2009 at Lawrence Community Healthcare in Bridgeport, IL.She was born September 28, 1928 in Newton, IL the daughter of Fred and Carrie (Goss) Rogers. On November 2, 1950 she married Marion Hixon. He survives.Also surviving are 2 sons: Kenneth Hixon of Sumner, IL, Russell Hixon of Sumner, IL, a daughter: Joyce and her husband Randy Mathews of Springfield, IL, 6 grandchildren: Garret Mathews of Lake Wylie, SC, Carrie Tucker of Springfield, IL, Erin Abel of Springfield, IL, Jenni Miller of Sumner, IL, Brandon Hixon of Sumner, IL, Heather Murphree of Princeton, IN, 5 great-grandchildren:Lucy Tucker, Claire Abel, Connor Mathews, Dillon Gray, and Anna Marie Miller.She was a homemaker and was a member of the Central Christian Church in Sumner, IL.Private services were conducted.  Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation. Â
