Imagene 'Jeannie' Stephens Harrington

Imagene ‘Jeannie’ Stephens Harrington, age 66, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Lawrenceville, Illinois. She was born on June 23, 1953 in Danville, Kentucky, the daughter of Herbert and Thelma (Maddox) Stephens.

Imagene worked for the Lawrence County Senior Citizens, and was active with the Lewis Manor Council for several years. She was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church. She enjoyed puzzle books, was an avid Rick Nelson fan, and a collector of Barbie Dolls. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors include her four daughters, Stacy Hanson and husband, James of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Andrea Schulz and husband, Keith of Louisville, Kentucky, Teresa Whiteker and husband, Suddie of Louisville, Kentucky, and Patricia Darling and husband, Chad of Louisville, Kentucky, one brother, Rick Stephens of Louisville, Kentucky; three sisters, Linda Langolf, Sharon Spontak, and Donna Gagliardi all of Louisville, Kentucky; and six grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Lawrence County Senior Citizens or the American Heart Association. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
