Helen Mae Grogan

Helen Mae Grogan, 86, of Sumner passed away Sunday October 5, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN.She was born July 19, 1922 in Bridgeport, IL the daughter of Garl and Myrtle Mae (Ruby) Mieure. On November 7, 1952 she married Lee Grogan. He preceded her in death on March 22, 1998.Helen was a homemaker. She was a member of the Union Chapel United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Ladies Home Extention Club- Prarie Unit.She is survived by 2 sons: Tom Grogan of Sumner, IL, Dan Grogan of Olney, IL, 3 brothers: Mervin Mieure of Wellington, NV, Leotis Mieure of Antioch, IL, Don Mieure of Findley, OH, 1 sister: Elsie Pelham of Sumner, IL and 3 grandchildren. a great grandchild, 6 brothers, and 2 sisters are deceased.The funeral will be Thursday at 1:00pm at Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cresthaven Memoral Park Cemetery. Visitation is also Thursday from 11:00am until the service hour of 1:00PM.Memorial donations may be given to the Union Chapel Church.
