Helen M. Creech

Helen M. Creech, age 72, of Bridgeport passed away October 4, 2010 at her residence. She was born June 16, 1938 in Evansville, IN the daughter of Harry and Nellie (Wise) Mason. Helen was a member of Free Methodist Church in Lawrenceville. She worked as a CNA in nursing homes until retirement. Survivors include two sons Harry Wease and wife Dana of Bridgeport and John Wease of Bridgeport; three daughters Tess Ferguson and husband Aaron of rural Sumner, Pam Ryan and husband Eddie Joe of rural Bridgeport, and Teresa Snyder of Bridgeport; one brother Tom Mason of Joliet, IL; one sister Pauline Kasinger of Lawrenceville; 13 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.Helen was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, five brothers and one sister.Funeral services will be 1 pm Thursday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home, 1303-12th Street in Lawrenceville. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 am to 1 pm at the funeral home.Burial will be in Lawrenceville City Cemetery.Memorials can be given to Good Samaritan Hospice with envelopes available through the funeral home.
