Hazel Gulledge Hall, 94, of Bridgeport, Illinois, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Aperion Care in Bridgeport, Illinois. She was born September 13, 1922, in Harrisburg, Illinois, the daughter of James and Della (Hale) Gibbs. She married Curtis ‘Yank' Gulledge on January 5, 1940 and he preceded her in death on February 24, 1992.
Hazel was a homemaker. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and enjoyed bowling.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, ‘Yank'; one son, Danny Gulledge; one brother, Gilbert Gibbs; and three sisters, Lola Ewell, Virginia Gibbs, and Betty Randolph.
Survivors include her two sons, Glen Gulledge of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Darrell Gulledge of Boise, Idaho; five daughters, Phyllis Woods of Dundas, Illinois, Kay Magee of Olney, Illinois, Donna Napier of Midway, Kentucky, Carolyn Sue McIntire and husband, Ralph, of Sumner, Illinois, and Janet Kirkwood of Robinson, Illinois; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM CST at the funeral home. Burial will in Cresthaven Memorial Park.
