Harry R. Webster

Harry R. Webster, age 88, of Lawrenceville passed away April 14, 2010 at the United Methodist Village. He was born August 29, 1921 in English, IN the son of John Henry and Mina Belle (Tanquary) Webster. He married Betty Dempsey October 4, 1941 and she died November 27, 2009.Harry was a farmer his entire life. He was an Army veteran, having served during WWI.Harry was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty, one son Larry, five brothers, and four sisters.Survivors include three sons David of Benald, IL, Steven of St. Francisville and Richard of Olney; one daughter Sandy Harrington of rural Lawrenceville, 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.A graveside service will be held Friday at 3:30 at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. There is no visitation.Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
