Gina Marie Rose

Gina Marie Rose, age 61, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025 at her residence. She was born on March 29, 1963 in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of Kenneth G. and Georgina (Sopha) Rose.

Gina worked at a laundry mat in her early years. She then attended Ivy Tech Community College, where she earned her accounting degree. She worked as an accountant for Walgreens and H&R Block. Her memberships included the St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Red Hat Society, American Legion, and VFW Auxiliary, where she was a lifetime member.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors include one brother, Joseph Rose and wife, Jan of Lawrenceville, Illinois; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 10:30 AM CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation on Friday from 9:30 AM until the service hour of 10:30 AM CST at the funeral home. Burial will be the Highland Cemetery in Williamsport, Indiana at 3:00 PM CST/4:00 PM EST. Memorial donations may be made to the VFW Auxiliary.
