Georgia Irene Hill

Georgia Irene Hill, 94, of Lawrenceville passed away Wednesday July 29, 2009 at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital.She was born May 13, 1915 in Lukin Township, IL the daughter of Asa I. and Oma (Curtis) Hill.She is survived by a sister: Helyn Brubeck of Stuart, FL, 5 nieces: Kay Zeigler of Stuart, FL, Wildas Christy of Lawrenceville, IL, Carolyn Fitch of Lawrenceville, IL, Julie Shick of Lawrenceville, IL, and Marilyn Wagner of Lawrenceville, IL.Irene was retired from GTE where she worked in the Business Office. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Lawrenceville where she was very active.A graveside service will be conducted Friday at 10:00am at Lawrenceville City Cemetery. There is no visitation.Memorial donations may be given to the First Christian Church.
