Garnet A. Abbott

Garnet A. Abbott, 88, of Lawrenceville passed away Tuesday March 31, 2009 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN.She was born February 14, 1921 in Lawrence County, IL the daughter of Lewellen and Haulta (Akers) Abbott.She worked for the telephone company after graduating from high school. She also graduated from beauty school. She was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church.The funeral will be Saturday at 11:00am at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Visitation is also Saturday from 9:30am until the service hour of 11:00am.
