Freda Miller

Freda Miller, 85, of Bridgeport, IL passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Lawrence Community Health Care in Bridgeport. Freda was born August 24, 1924 in St. Francisville, IL the daughter of Damon Ersell and Matilda (Mayer) Fortner. She married Vance E. Miller March 8, 1941 and he died May 31, 1998.Freda was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She worked 22 years for Suttle Apparatus in Lawrenceville, where she was a supervisor.Freda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and two sisters.Survivors include two daughters-Charlene (Michael) Klinger, Orlando FL and Virginia Lee (Joe) Fisher, Springfield, IL, as well as four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.Memorials may be made to Otterbein United Methodist Church with envelopes available through the funeral home.
