Frances Ann Myers

Frances Ann Myers, age 91, of Sumner, Illinois passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Ridgeview Care Center in Oblong, Illinois. She was born on March 20, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Carl W. and Fern (Paddick) Myers.

Frances worked as a secretary for Prestolite Battery Division in Vincennes, played the piano, and sang at several weddings. She was strong in her faith, a member of the Chauncey-Landes United Methodist Church, and attended many Easter services at the cross at Red Hills State Park. She enjoyed traveling with her parents to visit family, as well as attend musicals and the State Fair.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors include many cousins that she kept in contact with, as well as her church family that helped care for her over the years.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM CST at the Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Sumner, Illinois. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM CST at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Waggoner West Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Chauncey-Landes United Methodist Church.
