Frances Evelyn Lewis

Frances E. Lewis, 83-year old died at the Lawrence Community Healthcare Center in Bridgeport,Illinois at 4:50 A.M. on April 17, 2010.Born in Lawrence County, Illinois on October 01, 1926 she was the daughter of Roy and Mary Pinkstaff Sizemore.She was married to Wallace Dale Lewis and he preceded her in death Jan. 02, 1980.She worked on the family farm with her husband Wallace. She was a member of the Union Chapel United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and active in her church.Surviving are her children and spouses, a daughter Mary Lewis Little and husband, Robert living in Fresno,Ca., a son Forrest Dale Lewis of Rural Sumner and a daughter, Sharon Lewis Legg and husband Harlie living at rural Sumner,Il. Three grandchildren, 7 greatgrandchildren, along with 6 step grandchildren, 16 stepgreatgrandchildren and 7 greatgreatgrandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one stepgrandson.Graveside Services will be Monday morning 10:30 a.m. at the Sumner City Cemetery. There is no visitation. Memorial donations may be made to the Sumner or Bridgeport Senior Citizens.
